The Pervasive Parenting Center (PPC), established in 2014, is a nonprofit organization based in Poteau, Oklahoma. For more than a decade, we have helped families of children and young adults with disabilities by offering clear information, practical support, and programs that make a difference in everyday life.

The Pervasive Parenting Center began in 2014 as a joint effort by Kodey and Jennifer Toney, who were navigating the world of disability services for their son, Konner. As they worked to understand evaluations, school supports, and community resources, they quickly realized that many families in eastern Oklahoma were facing the same challenges — often without clear guidance or a place to turn for help.

PPC was created to fill that gap.

What started as a small, family-led effort to share information and support other parents has grown into a trusted nonprofit serving families across the region. Today, PPC offers autism screenings, parent workshops, youth programs, school-support guidance, and hands-on resources at no cost to families.

Even as PPC has expanded, our purpose remains the same as the day it began:
to help families find answers, build confidence, and feel supported every step of the way.

Who We Serve

Our passion is to provide support for families in eastern Oklahoma who are affected by autism and other disabilities by offering guidance, resources, and programs that make daily life easier.

Families trust PPC because we have lived experience, community partnerships, and more than a decade of supporting children and young adults with disabilities. Our approach is simple: clear information, practical tools, and hands-on support — all tailored to the needs of families in eastern Oklahoma.

We support families of individuals with disabilities across the entire lifespan — from early childhood through adulthood — offering guidance and resources at every stage of life in eastern Oklahoma.
