Current Projects
The Pervasive Parenting Center (PPC) is a nonprofit organization based in Poteau, Oklahoma, that supports families of children and young adults with disabilities. For more than a decade, PPC has partnered with parents, schools, and community groups to provide information, resources, and hands-on support across eastern Oklahoma.
Our goal is simple: to help families find the guidance and tools they need so their children can learn, grow, and succeed. We believe every child and young adult should have the opportunity to reach their potential at home, at school, and in the community.
A Place for Teens and Young Adults to Connect and Grow
PPC’s Social Group gives teens and young adults a welcoming place to spend time together, build friendships, and take part in fun, skill-building activities. Participants enjoy game nights, art projects, cooking, outings, and hands-on experiences that help build confidence and everyday life skills.
It’s a simple idea with a big impact: a safe, engaging space where young people can enjoy time with friends while learning along the way.
