The Southeast Region Youth Expedition is a fun, hands-on experience for young adults (ages 14 to 24) with disabilities and their families. Youth will learn self-advocacy, leadership, communication, and life skills through interactive workshops, games, and team activities—plus time to connect with peers in a welcoming environment.
The Youth Expedition is designed to help young adults build real-world skills for school, work, and community life. Sessions focus on practical tools youth can use right away like how to speak up for what they need, describe their strengths, and make choices that support independence.
This event is hosted by Pervasive Parenting Center (PPC) in partnership with the Oklahoma Family Network (OFN) and the Developmental Disabilities Council of Oklahoma (DDCO), along with local partners.
